Our fabulous Shepherds Huts offer all the joys of the great outdoors whilst still keeping some of your home comforts. Whether your flinging open the double doors open to embrace the summer sunshine or
cosying up around the log burner, a stay in one of our huts is the perfect way to enjoy the Norwich and the Broads. Our huts are lovingly handcrafted right here in Norfolk by our friends at the English Shepherds Hut Company, they are based on a traditional Shepherds hut design and come furnished with beautiful boutique fittings. |
Each Hut is just waiting for you to move in, bedding is provided and our huts are fitted with cosy wood burners to keep you snug. They can comfortably accommodate between 1 and 4 people and are the perfect retreat for a couple or a family looking for a camping break with a difference. Our Shepherds Huts are cool in the summer and cozy in the winter and are available to book year round

What you need to bring: Crockery, utensils and other cooking essentials, A gas camping stove if you don't want to use the BBQ (outside use only), Your weekend kit for adventuring- sturdy shoes, sunglasses and a good book!
- We have two huts; one with a double and a single bed (3 person hut) and the other with a double bed and single bunk beds (4 person hut)
- Both huts have a wood burning stove for warming tea and toes, are fully insulated and have double glazed windows
- Each hut has outside space, with a picnic bench for cooking and dining
- A BBQ/fire pit for is provided outdoor cooking, marshmallow toasting and, of course, huddling around
- The beds are fully made up with duvets, pillows and throws
- Included is kindling & one basket of firewood for you to use on the log burner or outside (BBQ charcoal available from reception if required)
- Need more space? There's enough space for you to pitch a tent also (camping fees apply)
- Check in is normally time from 2pm - 8pm, check out by 11.00am - check your booking info and try to arrive in daylight to see your hut in its full splendor
- Each hut comes with 1 car parking space which is just behind the huts. Additional spaces are charged at £5.00 per day.
- Our family hut is also dog friendly - dogs charged at £3 per night, well behaved pooches only (max 1 dog or 2 very small dogs)

Our Shepherds huts are available for bookings all year round. The prices below are per hut per night.
Please note we have a minimum 2 nights stay/ 3 night stay on any bank holiday. One night stays may be available at short notice or in the winter season - please enquire Hate washing up? If you don't fancy cooking why not grab breakfast at the Whitlingham Park Cafe and dinner in one of our fine local pubs & restaurants - 20 mins stroll from the steps of your hut! Or chose from one of Norwich's many take-away restaurants -we can offer Chinese, Thai and Nepalese to name just a few and all delivered to the door of your Shepherds Hut. |

Our Shepherds Huts are lovingly handcrafted right here in the Broads by the good people at the English Shepherds Hut Company, part of the timberpad family. Whether it's a traditional Shepherds Hut or a bespoke timber garden office, these guys are simply excellent at what they do!
