Your Camping Pitch
Thank you for booking with us! Here are some essential details about your pitch and our site. We hope this answers all your questions but if you need any further information please just drop us a line.
We look forward to seeing you soon!.
Pitch Details
Your pitch is a massive 10m x 7m, so there's plenty of space. If you think you will need more space to accommodate gazebos or pup tents please ask before arrival. We can usually accommodate additions but will make a small charge for a larger pitch.
We have two camping fields: the Upper Field is car free, so no car or campervans on the grass. The Lower Field can be driven on, so you can pitch your tent next to your car or park your camper on the grass. Both fields are within a minute's walk of the facilities block
Things You Might Like to Bring
These are not essentials - but they might make your stay extra special:
What to do When You (inevitably!) Forget Something
Don't panic! Our campsite shop sells a few camping essentials (pegs, Camping Gaz cartridges, marshmallows etc) and in the summer we have a small selection of local fruit and veg, bread, biscuits, drinks and ice creams.
Beyond the site, there is a cafe just across the road (2 mins walk) and the village shop (20 mins stroll) sells all the essentials. For bigger shops, Asda, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsburys are all no more than a 15 minute drive from the site.
We look forward to seeing you soon!.

Parking
Your booking includes parking for one car per pitch. We share our car park with the Country Park and there are parking enforcement cameras in use. Because of this it is very important that all guests check in at reception before pitching so we can enter your reg number and put your car on a parking permit for the duration of your stay. Extra car parking spaces can be purchased at cost of £5 per day. Stick by these simple rues and all will be ok, however if there are any problems with parking (cars not registered will automatically be sent a fine, which we have no control over) please contact us in the first instance.
Visitors to the site
If you have friends in the area they are welcome to visit you at the campsite, but please let us know in advance as there is a maximum number of people we allow on site and it is not always possible to accommodate visitors.
There is a charge of £5 per car for all visitors or £2 per person if there is no car. This includes the cost of parking. All guests must be off site by 10pm and we regret that if you have visitors which have not been checked into site then your whole party may be asked to leave the campsite with no refund.
Please note that your Bell Tent has a maximum capacity of 4 adults and 2 under 16s at any one time.

Camping Code
We promote family-friendly, low impact camping, so please respect our Country Park location. We are not a party site so no amplified music please, quiet enjoyment after 10pm and, whilst we love a good ale as much as anyone, if drinking to excess is going to form a large part of your weekend then we are not the site for you!
We basically ask that you respect the countryside and your fellow campers, and we staff the site at all times to make sure that no one person is spoiling another's holiday with inconsiderate behaviour. Please see our Camping Code page for more info. Thanks for your help with this!

Fire Pits & BBQs
Fire pits and BBQs are welcome, but if bringing your own fire pit please make sure that it is raised a minimum off the floor so as not to damage our grass. We rent fire pits and grills for a small fee (details below).
In order to protect our environment, we do not allow disposable BBQs at all on site. Please leave them at home (or just don't buy one!).
Any party having a fire pit (either one rented from us or their own) must agree to and sign our fire policy. This is a simple set of rules to make sure that everyone enjoys a campfire in a safe and responsible manner. Marshmallow toasting is obligatory (with the exception of veggies)!
