Campsite Code
Here at Whitlingham we want everybody to have a great stay, and to make sure that all do we only welcome campers who respect one another, our campsite and the environment we are in. So before you book please check out our full Terms and Conditions and read the simple code below -Check in to site is from 2pm-7.30pm, your whole group will need to arrive within these times- please cehck your confirmation for info
- Noise - Stereos & amplified music are not allowed on the site. Musicians with acoustic instruments are welcome but to make sure everyone gets a good night sleep we ask for quiet enjoyment only after 10.30pm
- Campfires - Campfires are only allowed in proper raised fire pits (which can be rented from us on site, or bring your own). All wood must be brought in from off site or bought from our shop. Foraging in the surrounding woods for fuel damages the environment and annoys our neighbouring landowners; anyone found doing so will be asked to leave without refund. Disposable BBQS are NOT ALLOWED on site at all
- Alcohol - We enjoy a bevvy or two but, in our experience, if heavy consumption of alcohol is going to form part of your camping trip then Whitlingham is not the place for you. Enjoy a drink but always respect your fellow campers. We will not tolorate rowdy behaviour as this just spoils the peace
- Recycling - Recycling is important to us and we try to make things as easy as possible for guests to recycle. We have separate bins for different waste streams and can provide separate bags for rubbish and recycling. Please note: we cannot dispose of broken camping equipment, tents airbeds etc - please take these home with you
- Dogs - We love dogs here - so book them in and bring them along. Well behaved pooches are welcome to be off the lead but must be kept under close control, and of course you MUST clean up after your dog.If we find that you are not doing this, it will be time for you and your pooch to leave the site (without refund)
- Visitors to site- at peak times we are unable to accept day visitors outside of your booking to site. we reserve the right to turn away extra people who are not included with your booking - please contact us with individual requirements before confirming your booking, if we can allow visitors fees will apply. If you are found to have extra people at your pitch that have not checked in you will be asked to leave without refund. This is for the comfort of all guests.
